Off-Loom Weaving
Description
Design and create hand woven items without the use of a floor loom. In this five-day workshop, participants will gain a general understanding of woven cloth and discuss a variety of yarn and the qualities of each. Without the constrictions of a classic floor loom, the techniques that will be taught have few creative limits resulting in endless possibilities. From custom bags to designer berets, participants will learn to make their own custom templates to weave ready to use projects with no sewing required.
