Altered Book Art
Description
The altered book is an art form in which existing books are recycled into new works of art. During this two-day workshop participants will explore mixed-media techniques including wet and dry material, collage, prepared grounds, and co-active imagery to transform an old hard covered book into a personal work of art. The workshop will begin with a field trip to a local used bookstore where participants will purchase their book.
