Sew Much Fun: An Introduction to Sewing for Teens

DescriptionSew Much Fun: An Introduction to Sewing for Teens
Are you tired of meeting peers wearing the same clothing?  Do you go shopping and find 20 items exactly the same colour in your community?  Want to create your own unique look?  In this five-day course, fashion designer Melanie Mitchell will show you how to make your own designs.  She will teach you to develop your own patterns or use those provided and make accessory items such as hat, bag, mitts/scarf or even a simple curtain.  If you have simple sewing machine knowledge, let Melanie Arbeau show you how to spice up your wardrobe.  Then watch heads turn when you walk down the street.
