(Re) Discovering Fredericton's Architecture
Description
Are you intrigued or fascinated by the historic buildings that surround us? Would you like to delve into some of Fredericton's unique structures that are central to the cultural history of Canada? From 220 year-old wooden homes to National Historic Site churches to overlooked contemporary gems, researcher and university lecturer Koral LaVorgna will help you look at Fredericton's architecture from a historical perspective. Following informed talk, participants will then visit a number of downtown buildings and interior spaces where they can receive the ‘inside story’ regarding Fredericton’s architecture.
