Make, Glaze & Fire Raku
Description
In this two-day workshop with ceramist Chris Colwell, participants will be able to make, glaze and fire their own pottery pieces. On the first day participants will be introduced to various simple forming techniques to create several clay pots choosing from a variety of shapes including vases, cups, and abstracts. On the second day, participants will be able to glaze and fire their own pieces using the ancient and exciting Raku method. At the end of the workshop, participants will be taking home several of their own beautiful creations to give as treasured keepsakes. They may even become so special that you’ll want to keep them for yourself!
