Personal Guide Books 101: Exploring Personal Landscapes Through Art

DescriptionFolded, Stitched and Glued: The Handbound Book
An exploration of your world through pictures and inner dialogue is much like a treasure hunt.  Even though we live our lives surrounded by others, we all, in some way, come from different worlds. The lay of the land - the landscape - the map - these are only the words that point and try to give meaning to the collection of your life experiences and your own unique world.  And just as the decisions we make create our lives, decisions create art.  The objective of this weekend workshop is to explore this process through drawing exercises.  The topics that will be discussed will include who is your audience and honesty in mark making. The resulting works should appear completely different, proving the uniqueness of each participant.
