Meditation in Everyday Life
Description
During the one-day workshop participants will learn a basic breathing meditation technique called Shamatha, meaning “peaceful abiding”, as well as an introduction to some contemplation-style meditation. Fundamentally, participants will learn to relax which will be helpful in everyday life. Although the instructor is well versed in the tradition of Shambhala Buddhist, the approach taken in the workshop will be secular and welcomes participants from all religious backgrounds and traditions. If you can find ten minutes in your day, you will be able to practice and incorporate what you learn into your daily routine.
