Felting

DescriptionPottery
It's warm, it's fuzzy and it's easy to do!  Why not try your hand at felting, one of the oldest means of producing cloth?  In this five-day workshop, designer Denise Richard will encourage you to explore felting with concentration on the dying of fleece to create a unique colour palette.  You will then use the newly dyed fibre to begin basic techniques of felting in 2 and 3D as well as felting with secondary materials such as silk, gauze or organza.
