Felt Dolls Making: Myth and Lore

DescriptionFelt Dolls
Calling all lovers of myth and lore! Come join professional fiber artist and writer Kim Vose Jones in a five-day needle-felting workshop.  During this exciting class you will be introduced to an increasingly popular craft.  With hands-on instruction you will learn how to sculpt felt figures from wool, molding raw fibers into a mythical creature such as a fairy or mermaid - or whatever your imagination dictates!  In the end you will have made a fabulous, colourful and expressive doll.  Learn about the medium and the tools required to bring wool sculpture to life by adding facial expressions and colour detail.
