Alternative Photographic Processes
Description
With Photoshop and the digitization of camera technology, the darkroom is becoming a thing of the past and old fashioned art printing techniques are extremely rare. But if you want your photographic prints to stand out, bring your negatives and participate in this darkroom with professional photographer Oliver Flecknell. Through presentations and hands on practice, you will explore early printing techniques such as cyanotypes, collotypes and gum bichromate, that can create beautiful effects and enhance your images in ways that digitized effects can only pretend to approximate.
