Kim Vose Jones

Kim Vose JonesProfessional Artist Kim Vose Jones has been named this year's Beaverbrook Art Gallery's Studio Watch winner.  She has been lecturer and guest speaker across Canada and the United States for arts festivals, university classes, and in the public school system in New Brunswick.  She is a part-time lecturer in Fine Arts at Saint Thomas University.  Jones's paintings and felt creations have been showcased in solo and group exhibitions across Canada and the US.  Her painting and short story, The Dance, was credited as inspiration for the Danse Artemis Dance Ballet Company; an excerpt from her book Sirena and the Pull of the Fundy Shore and some photographic images of her felted creations have been published in Crow Toes Children's Quarterly in Vancouver. Vose Jones sits on the boards of several arts organizations.
