Stacey Read
Stacey Lynn Read has always enjoyed music and her amazing talent has taken her to outstanding places. She is now known across the Atlantic Provinces as a gifted young musician who loves what she does. Starting at age 4, Stacey received training from noted New Brunswick artists Ivan & Vivian Hicks as well as classical violinist Margaret Wood. Up until her teens, she competed in fiddling events across the country and captured over 150 noteworthy trophies. Stacey's first recording, Silver Lake Fiddling, was captured when she was only 9. She recorded a second, Still Growing, only two years later. Her newest release, Playing with a Full Deck, continues to be regarded as one Atlantic Canada's best fiddle albums. Stacey has recently graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in Music Business Management.
