Sarah Petite
Artist Sarah Petite loves encaustic paint, antiquity, and games. During her twenty years of creation and exhibition across the Maritimes, she still considers encaustic paint her favourite. Using ancient artifacts as well as modern, she incorporates their subjects and themes throughout her artwork. By replicating archaeological treasures through the paint medium, she shares the exciting rediscovery of remote times and places. In her explorations, she found that games left their traces, too - in tombs, on pavements, and papyrus scrolls.
