Doris Norman

Doris NormanDoris Norman is a skilled artisan and teacher, having taught rug hooking at schools and retreats in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Burlington and Georgetown Ontario, Vancouver, Oregon, and at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.  Doris is an accredited Pearl McGown Teacher, USA and a Teacher of the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia. She is a member of numerous rug hooking guilds and has exhibited her work at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Memorial Hall on the University of New Brunswick campus, the Old Government House Art Gallery, and the York Sunbury Museum.  Her expertise in rug hooking has been featured in published articles for Rug Hooking Magazine and various newsletters.   She instructs all aspects of rug hooking design specifically Celtic, Jacobean, William Morris, and Pictoral.
