Melanie Mitchell
Local designer Melanie Mitchell graduated from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design with Diplomas in Surface Design and Fashion. She is now an instructor in Foundation of Visual Arts, Surface Design and Fashion at NBCCD. A self-professed fabric snob, Melanie prefers to work with silks, velvets and soft cottons. Through her designs, she often explores her obsession with color and texture, creating sensuous one-of-a-kind and ready to wear pieces.
