Joan Meade
Joan Meade is an art teacher, a storyteller and dramatist. Now retired from teaching art in the public school system, she teaches watercolor at Stepping Stone Senior Centre and this winter taught the Thursday evening classes at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.
She has been storytelling and painting all of her life and in the past twenty years has been a guest in many Story Festivals across the country. She is well known in the Fredericton region, in schools with Tourism and has presented workshops for teachers and businesses has shared her tales in Ireland, Japan, and California.
