Sue Hooper

Sue HooperSue Hooper graduated from the Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario and worked as an artist and designer for the past 30 years.  Hooper has worked with the healing power of art and currently works part time as a teacher and manager of Art at Hooper Studios in Hampton, New Brunswick.  Hooper has travelled the world, leaving her with a vast assortment of images and emotions relative to diverse people and cultures. When she established the organization SUMO, she hand painted original designs on cotton clothing. She was selected by Jean Bradbury of Oregon to join a team of artists who established Patchwork Planet, a women's cooperative, in Safi, Jordan.
