Bronwyn Gallagher
Fibre artist Bronwyn Gallagher, a recent graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, loves creating things and has a passion for weaving. Gallagher was selected as New Brunswick's winner of the 2009 Bank of Montreal national competition for graduating students. Gallagher also was the recipient of the 2010 Nel Oudemans Award as selected by the Strathbutler jury for her work in differential shrinkage, in which the wool portion of the fabric is shrunk while the silk remains the same. Gallagher also received an Arts NB Creation Grant for her work in this area.
