Adult & Family Friendly
While most of the edVentures workshops are designed for adults and ages 16 and up, we also offer a number of workshops appropriate for children & youth. Parents who would like to take edVentures workshops can arrange safe and quality activities for their children.

Age Limit: Adult classes require participants to be a minimum of 16 years of age or is at the discretion of the instructor (for special circumstances only). All classes for youth and children have age appropriateness indicated within the description.
Cancellation Policy: If a workshop is cancelled for any reason, payment is refunded in full. If the participant cancels more than 30 days from the start of the class date, payment will be refunded in full less a $25 administration fee. If a participant cancels between 15 and 30 days in advance of the workshop, half the workshop fee plus the materials fee, if applicable, will be returned. If canceling less than 14 days no refund will be offered. If a workshop is completed filled and there is a waiting list, the enrollment is non-transferable as workshop space is limited.
Class Size: edVentures workshops offer hands-on instruction in an intimate setting. Most classes range from10 to 15 allowing participants to enjoy the opportunity to experience an enriching, learning environment. There is ample time to have extra instruction and a chance to get to know others in your class.

Of these facilities, the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and the University of New Brunswick are accessible.
Payment: Debit cards and credit cards are accepted. Full workshop fee plus materials is required at time of registration.
Discounts:
Registering by May 31?: A 15% discount off workshop fees will be applied to all paid registrations for adult workshops (16+) on or before May 31st, 2012, space permitting. Discount does not apply to any applicable materials fees or equipment rentals.?We appreciate you?registering early as this helps to ensure the programs will proceed. A $25 late fee will apply to those that register within seven days of the workshop start date.
Taking More Than One 5-day Workshop? - Will you be a familiar face at edVentures? For those participants taking a 5-day adult (16+) workshop in 2012, any subsequent 5-day adult workshop you register for will be available to you at a 20% discount off the workshop fee, space permitting. The workshops do not have to be booked at the same time for this discount to apply and this offer is valid throughout the 2012 program. Please indicate at the time of booking that you are a familiar face to edVentures, meaning that you have already paid for a 5-day workshop this year. To qualify, you must be the actual participant and indicate that you are eligible for the reduced fee before the final financial transaction has taken place. This offer cannot be combined with another discount, it is not retroactive, and does not apply to any applicable materials fees or equipment rentals.
Registration: edVentures offers a number of ways to make the registering for a workshop as simple as possible. You can choose from email, telephone, fax, mail (click here for contact information), through this website (click here for our online registration) and, of course, in person at 11 Carleton Street, Fredericton NB.
Workshop Times: Workshops are offered 9am - 12 noon and 1pm to 4pm. Lunch is on your own. Several unique restaurants are nearby. Don't miss out on some great culinary experiences or grab a bite outdoors and enjoy a leisurely walk on The Green next to the beautiful St John River.
Language: Several of our instructors are bilingual, however, workshops are presented in English.
Supplies: We’ve made it easy and, with only a few exceptions, all supplies are provided with the materials fee. Should you already have some experience and wish to bring some of your own tools, certainly do so. We recommend labelling them well. We will contact you should suggestions for any other items for your workshop be recommended.
When Should I Register?: We recommend registering early to avoid disappointment as workshop class sizes are limited. As well, remember any workshop that does not meet minimum registration two weeks in advance may be cancelled. (Don't forget about the May 31st early-bird rate!)
