Vacation Learning in Craft & Culture
edVentures Fredericton has wrapped up for the season
The 2012 program will run from July 9 - August 17 and registrations will open in February. In the meantime, please join our Facebook Fan Page at www.facebook.com/edVenturesFredericton to chat with instructors and stay up to date on edVentures news.
Set in one of the country's most beautiful and creative communities, Fredericton's edVentures summer program is Atlantic Canada's largest and most diverse vacation learning program in craft and culture.
The edVentures program is based in gentle downtown Fredericton, where you'll find the renowned New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (NBCCD) in the heart of the Historic Garrison District, a national historic site. In addition to the NBCCD, our partners include the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, the University of New Brunswick Arts Centre, Kings Landing Historical Settlement, the Fredericton Arts Alliance, the New Brunswick Crafts Council and the Charlotte Street Arts Centre (CSAC) in the St. Anne's Point Heritage Preservation Area.
Intensive, small-group workshops
The edVentures summer program features intensive, small-group workshops in five-day weekday, two-day and one-day weekend courses. Workshops run seven weeks from July 4 to August 14, 2011. Sign up early to ensure your spot as spaces are limited to ensure an intimate learning experience.
Exceptional learning experiences from top-quality instructors
Our vision is to provide an exceptional learning experience from top-quality, experienced instructors in a refreshing, easy-going atmosphere. We'll weave that first-rate learning opportunity in a rich tapestry of exciting cultural offerings and connections to our friendly people. It's like no other vacation you've ever taken.
Adult, Children and Family workshops available
Programs are designed primarily for adults and those 16 years and older. Workshops for Youth & Children are also offered, coordinated to allow parents to participate, while their children safely enjoy their own age-appropriate programs. New this summer, we have added family workshops that allow both young and old to have a learning experience together.
