When you come to Fredericton, Atlantic Canada's Riverfront Capital, not only do you get a great learning experience but also there are lots of cool cultural activities to do the week you're here. From free outdoor films & concerts in a lively setting to gallery openings and historic walking tours, to an evening of yoga overlooking the majestic St. John River, you're sure to find lots to do, both in and out of the workshop. And did we mention that we also have over 85kms of trails with guided bike tours?

Run / Walk Group - Are you an avid walker or runner? Enjoy Fredericton's scenic trails along the majestic St. John River with the people who know them best - the local walking and running groups.

Monday Noon Hour Welcome Barbeque - Come join in the fun and let us treat you to a light meal or grab your own sandwich. Meet fellow participants, learn about the other workshops taking place, and hear about the activities going on during your edVentures week in a very informal outdoor setting.

Outdoor Summer Theatre - Fredericton Outdoor Summer Theatre presents their Calithumpians in free Theatre-in-The-Park! Expect humorous and historical fare for which the Compnay is famous.

Guard House Theatre - A theatrical performance in a historical setting. Great enjoyment for everyone!

Under the Stars Classic Film Series - Join our community for a romantic movie night under the stars. Watch classic films outdoors on the silver screen! Refreshments are available on-site.

Guided Walking Tour - Costumed guides entertain you with local history and folklore on a free walking tour of downtown Fredericton's historic sites.
Location: Guided Tours start from City Hall
Changing of the Guard Ceremony - With a flash of scarlet and a skirl of pipes, history comes to life! The Canadian Army was born in 1884 with the establishment of the Infantry School Corps, Company 'A' in Fredericton. Watch as period-dressed guards re-enact a drill ceremony to the beat of a piper and drummer.

Outdoor Summer Concert Series - Sit back and unwind while you take in one of our free outdoor concerts featuring some of New Brunswick's top performers.

Noon Concert - Enjoy a nice mid-day break with a free outdoor concert!

Yoga - Release your mind, body and soul with yoga on the deck of the Lighthouse on the Green overlooking the majestic St. John River. Donations wecolme.

Concert Lighthouse on the Green - Take in the scenic views of the St. John River while listening to the soft sounds of this free concert on the deck of the Lighthouse on the Green.

Culture Crawl - Visit art galleries and fine craft studios and shops of Downtown Fredericton during these festive free open houses. Locations are within walking distance of each other. The dates for this summer are June 2, July 7, August 4 and September 1, 5 8pm.
Need a seat? Complimentary chairs are available for visitors to all Historic Garrison District performances.
Activities ($)
Haunted Hikes - Meet the ghosts of historic figures from Fredericton's past on a lantern-lit tour through downtown Fredericton. This tour is fun, distinct and exceptional featuring spine tingling frights and funny bone tickling gags.
